Why I Started Flow Digital

After more than two decades working at the intersection of operations, strategy, and communications, I’ve come to understand something deeply: digital systems are not just tools—they’re extensions of how a team thinks, works, and serves.

Flow Digital was born out of a simple idea: when systems flow, people thrive.

I’ve spent my career navigating the complexities of organizations—from the heart-driven pace of the nonprofit sector to the demands of fast-moving businesses in the private sector. What I noticed time and again, regardless of industry, was a common pattern: great people held back by messy systems, outdated processes, and a lack of digital confidence. Whether it was a growing business overwhelmed by spreadsheets or a nonprofit struggling to make its impact visible, the problem was rarely about effort. It was about flow.

my path to flow

My experience spans nonprofit leadership, public sector partnerships, and private enterprise. I’ve led teams, managed large communications strategies, digitized back-end operations, launched brands, and brought order to chaos across multiple industries. I’ve worked alongside engineers, forest techs, scientists, developers, and CEOs—and I’ve come to love the sweet spot where practical technology meets real human needs.

I’ve always been the go-to person for solving the “how” behind the scenes:

  • How do we make this easier to manage?

  • How can we scale this?

  • How can we empower our people to work smarter—not harder?

I realized there are so many organizations doing amazing work—but they’re often stuck because their internal systems haven’t caught up with their vision.

That’s where Flow Digital comes in.

What Flow Digital Does

At Flow, I work with organizations to bring clarity and momentum to their internal digital world—whether that’s smarter workflows, better use of tools like SharePoint or ChatGPT, or designing systems that support both strategy and day-to-day work.

I help:

  • Business owners who are ready to level up but don’t know where to start.

  • Nonprofit teams who want their tools to reflect their values.

  • Operations leaders who need someone to bridge the gap between tech, people, and strategy.

I don’t just offer tech recommendations—I walk beside you to implement, train, and embed new ways of working so the change actually sticks.

Why Now?

I started Flow Digital because I believe small changes in how we work can have a huge impact on how we feel—and how we serve. I wanted to create a company that supports real people doing meaningful work. One that doesn’t just chase trends but helps teams thrive with what they already have (plus a little guidance and digital wisdom).

This work is personal to me. I care deeply about the people I work with and the organizations they lead. Flow is my way of combining everything I’ve learned—across sectors, tools, and teams—into one purpose: to help people do their best work, with ease.

Let’s Build Better Flow

If you're feeling the weight of digital clutter, struggling to make systems talk to each other, or just need a fresh perspective on how your operations run—I’d love to talk. Flow Digital isn’t just a service; it’s a partnership. Let’s build systems that support the people behind them.

You focus on what matters most. I’ll handle the flow behind the scenes.
